5th Grade & Beginning Band Students and Parents,

First, I would like you all to know how EXCITED we are to have you in our Band program at Phoenix!!! When you arrive:

Allow for an 8-10 minute meeting Mr. Butzow, Phoenix Middle School Band Director. If you have already rented your child's instrument and have a copy of the Essential Elements book, you do not need to attend.

If possible last names starting A-L arrive between 3:00-4:30 and last names M-Z arrive from 4:30-6 (and of course we can be flexible with your schedules!).

Most students have already tried and selected their instrument. During each meeting, we will talk with your student and give information about renting an instrument.

Students can choose from the following instruments:

Flute

Clarinet

Saxophone (Alto or Tenor)

Trumpet

Horn (w/ teacher approval)

Trombone

Baritone

Percussion (w/ teacher approval)
