DDSD Youth Apprenticeship students are well underway with test driving their potential careers within the local workforce. Students enrolled in the state sponsored Youth Apprenticeship program integrate school-based and work-based learning to enhance employability and occupational skills defined by Wisconsin workforce sectors. Students are instructed by qualified teachers and skilled worksite mentors to promote career readiness.
We would like to highlight Youth Apprenticeship students Parker Krablean and Alex Papcke as they are working alongside their mentors at Southern Lakes Plumbing & Heating, Inc. to develop skills related to HVAC and Plumbing.
