Quintin Arizola

The Delavan-Darien School District is proud to announce that Quintin Arizola, an incoming senior at Delavan-Darien High School and standout student-athlete on the Comets football team, has been selected as the 2026 Green Bay Packers NFL Latino Youth Honors Nominee.

The prestigious recognition celebrates high school football student-athletes who have strong ties to the Latino community and exemplify excellence, leadership, and character both on the football field and within their schools and communities.

Each spring, all 32 NFL teams invite high school football programs throughout their respective states to nominate one student-athlete for the honor. Following a competitive statewide nomination process, the Green Bay Packers selected Quintin to represent the organization as its official nominee for the 2026 NFL Latino Youth Honors Award.

Quintin was nominated by Delavan-Darien High School Head Football Coach Mark Kibler, who recognized him for his outstanding leadership, dedication to the game of football, academic commitment, and positive impact throughout the school and community.

"One of the things that makes Quintin special is that he never looks for recognition, he simply shows up every day ready to work, support his teammates, and represent our program the right way," said Kibler. "This honor recognizes the kind of person he is just as much as the athlete he's become, and I couldn't think of anyone more deserving."

The recognition comes during an exciting week for Quintin and the Delavan-Darien football program as he and his fellow Comet teammates prepare to participate in the Green Bay Packers' Nike 11-ON Initiative on Friday, July 10, at Lambeau Field and the Titletown District. Hosted by the Packers, the event brings together eight Wisconsin high school football teams for a 7-on-7 Tournament and Linemen Challenge while emphasizing teamwork, leadership, and the development of life skills that extend beyond the game. The event is part of the NFL's scholastic football initiative and is free and open to the public.

As the Green Bay Packers' official nominee, Quintin now advances for consideration at the national level through the NFL and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. All 32 team nominees will be recognized nationally, with eight student-athletes ultimately selected as national finalists. Those finalists will each receive a college grant and participate in exclusive leadership, mentorship, and career development experiences during Super Bowl LXI Week in Los Angeles. During Super Bowl week, one male and one female national recipient will be announced before being honored at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's National Youth Awards ceremony in 2027.

In addition to the national recognition, the Green Bay Packers will honor Quintin during the team's home opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, September 24, at historic Lambeau Field. Quintin and a guest will receive on-field recognition before the Thursday Night Football game and enjoy the game as guests of the Green Bay Packers.

Delavan-Darien High School Athletic Director Kyle Polzin said Quintin's selection reflects the values the district strives to instill in every student-athlete.

"This award recognizes student-athletes who make an impact beyond the scoreboard, and Quintin is a perfect example of that," said Polzin. "He consistently demonstrates sportsmanship, accountability, and a genuine commitment to his teammates and school community. We're incredibly proud to see him recognized by one of the NFL's most respected organizations, and this honor is a reflection of the outstanding example he sets both on and off the field."

For Quintin, the recognition represents much more than an individual accomplishment.

"Receiving this honor is something I'll never forget," said Quintin Arizola. "I'm thankful to Coach Kibler, my teammates, my family, and everyone who has encouraged me along the way. Being selected by the Green Bay Packers is an incredible privilege, and having the opportunity to represent my Latino heritage, my school, and my community on a national stage makes it even more meaningful."

Ashley Duchemin, Director of Marketing & Communications and Community Engagement & Partnerships for the Delavan-Darien School District, said Quintin's achievement reflects the district's mission of preparing students to lead with purpose both inside and outside the classroom.

"Quintin embodies what it means to be a Delavan-Darien Comet," said Duchemin. "This recognition extends far beyond athletics, it celebrates character, leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others. Quintin has earned the respect of his coaches, teammates, teachers, and classmates through the example he sets every day. We are incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to watching him continue to make an impact both on and off the field."

The Delavan-Darien School District congratulates Quintin on this remarkable accomplishment and wishes him continued success as he advances through the national NFL Latino Youth Honors selection process. Congratulations, Quintin, on this incredible and well-deserved honor!
